Emergency Response Planning

At Kaizen Safety Group, we can assist and develop your required site or project specific Emergency Response Plan based on our internal expertise.

Health & Safety Program Development

At Kaizen Safety Group, we can assist and develop your health and safety management system and program based on our internal expertise.
  1. Employers with 20+ employees are required to have a OH&S program
  2. Employers will require coordinated systems to include the following:
    • Health and safety policies
    • Hazard assessments and controls
    • Emergency response plan
    • Clear OHS responsibilities
    • Scheduled worksite inspections
    • Subcontractor procedures
    • Health and safety orientation
    • Training for supervisors and workers
    • Incident investigation and root cause
  3. Health and safety programs are subject to reviews by a third-party auditor every 3 years and subject to corrective actions or improvements

Incident Investigations

At Kaizen Safety Group, we can assist or facilitate incident investigations and determine root causes based on our internal expertise. We can also develop your incident investigation procedures and train your people to the following methods.
Five-Why Technique
  1. A worker slips and falls and suffers an injury
    • Why was there a puddle of oil on the plant floor?
    • Why is the oil leaking from the compressor?
    • Why was an oil leak from the compressor not detected?
    • Why was the compressor not inspected on a regular basis or repaired?
    • Why was the compressor not included in your maintenance program? – Root Cause

Environmental Remediation

Two, 3-day interactive workshops planned such that after each workshop there are coaching sessions to practise and reinforce the learnings from the workshop.
  • A detailed overview of the concept
  • Case studies with relevant examples
  • In-depth discussions and opportunities for engagement
  • 3 days with assignments, exercises, and role-play activities
  • Practice with making a basic presentation
  • Approximately 8 hours of coaching with each participant on an individual basis at their worksite
  • A second 3-day workshop to present and review assignments
  • Each individual to create their own personal plan for the next year which includes personal development as well as the development of their team and organization
  • A second period of individual coaching at the various worksites of approximately 8 hours per patricipant
